Dear friends and acquaintances. Thank you for taking time-out to review my donations page. On Sunday, 27th May I will berunning the Edinburgh marathon to raise money for the Breast Cancer Care charity. Many years ago, I mused about what a fun filled challenge it would be to run a Marathon. Distracted by family life and other sporting interests, I declared (at that time) that I would run one before my 50th birthday. Well; the conveyor of time has taken us through engagements, weddings & children; the 50th birthday looms large on the horizon for the class of 78. So to fulfill my sporting oath I will be running a marathon before August 9th this year. In doing so I want to raise the largest possible sum of money for Breast Cancer Care. Breast Cancer Care focus on awareness, prevention, practical and emotional support for those facing difficult times with breast cancer. 4 Years ago I lost my wife Jane to cancer so I know that it's a bumpy ride.
