Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £16 million each year to continue our services

Story

This fundraising page has been set up in memory of Clive Parfitt to invite donations in place of flowers from anyone who would like to give. Clive spent his last weeks at St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham, south-east London, which for those of you who do not know, is not far from Crystal Palace.  Clive grew up in Dulwich which is nearby.

He had a lovely room at St Christopher's with a big window over-looking the gardens and he could see Crystal Palace tower from there. The hospice is a wonderful place, full of bright art-work and textiles, a garden and a welcoming café for family and friends to take time out. Not forgetting it is also home to Colin the cat.

All the staff provide the very highest standards of care, alongside complementary therapies for patients and their families, as well as bereavement counselling. It is a very special place and it was Clive's wish that St Christopher's should be recognised for the amazing care it provides.

So, if you are able to make any donation (with gift aid, if eligible) you can know that it's going to a very special charity. And, you'll have that warm fuzzy feeling that you've made a difference.
