Hearing words like 'autism', or 'learning difficulty' can be devastating for parents. Seeing someone you care about affected by stroke is devastating. B.I.R.D. offers a therapy programme to achieve their true potential. Your support will help more families seeking our support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are asking for donations in lieu of flowers for the life celebration funeral of Mr Peter Connor.  Peter spent his life helping people, If he could help you he would, always with a smile and usually a bad joke or two.

B.I.R.D is a small charity based just outside Chester, it is dedicated to improving the lives of people of all ages, helping individuals with many different conditions such as autism, learning difficulty, developmental delay and strokes.

B.I.R.D often achieve transformational change in people when all hope has been lost .  This is a charity close to our heart having supported first hand two of Peter's Grandson's Charles and Hugh, along with supporting the family when we lost our darling Emily in 2018.

Being totally reliant on voluntary donations, our JustGiving page is one small way we can say thank you, and raise a smile knowing that your donation is helping the legacy of Peter and his life dedicating to helping others.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
