Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September 2017 I will be attempting to cycle 186 miles (approx) over 3 days on behalf of The Institute of Cancer Research.

There will be 2 mountain climbs  per day including; the Col Du Galibier, Col du Telegraphe and the 21 steep hair pin bends of Alpe d'Huez - all which have featured prominently in the Tour De France over the years.

Having lost my father in 2013 after a long struggle with cancer, choosing to fund raise for the ICR was an easy decision as their mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer.

ICR research is heavily focused on 3 key areas in the battle against cancer; genetics, understanding cancer biology and discovering new cancer treatments.

Money raised will help with this research, more information on the charity can be found here:

http://www.icr.ac.uk/

Please dig deep and contibute to this worthwhile cause, no amount is too small.

Many thanks,

Adam
