Oxford Half Marathon · 14 October 2012 ·

We provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. Hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Story

Well it's been a while but it's time to put my half marathon head back on and raise some money for an incredibly worthwhile charity! As ever, Andy will be joining me and I think I'm in danger of him competing with me to the finish line! I have chosen Oxford as I was born there and its a relatively flat course!!! My chosen charity is Childrens Hospice Southwest. Their purpose is to build precious memories for families whose children are living with life-limiting or life threatening conditions and rely on the generosity and efforts of people like you to help them deliver their promise to ‘make the most of short and precious lives across the South West’. I am sure you will all agree this is a very worthwhile charity and every penny really does count! I couldn't have raised the money I have over the years for a number of different charities without the help of each and every one of you! Every penny really does count!
