A team of 12 Scottish Water Horizons employees are aiming to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Every year we challenge ourselves to raise money in memory of our friend and colleague Keith Winstanley who sadly passed away in 2017.

Keith was a keen hillwalker and a very good friend and colleague who was taken too soon and is sorely missed by all that knew him.

We have chosen the charity PKD due to it being close to the heart of one of our team. Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a life threatening inherited condition that can cause Kidney failure and affect other organs in the body. Around 70,000 adults and children in the UK may have PKD.

The PKD charity support those affected, their families and carers. They raise awareness and fund research into this condition.

Our walkers are Fiona Webber, Murdo MacAulay, Ian Piggot, Ian Waugh, Colin Lindsay, JIang Wu, Vaiva Lilionyte, Kimon Alawoya, Jamie Dolan, Presley McGuire, Frances and Pat Stakim.
