Throughout the month of January, Northern Marine onshore employees will collectively walk, run, cycle, row or swim 15,998km; the equivalent distance between Northern Marine’s two farthest-apart offices: Houston and Singapore.

Employees will fundraise for the Mission to Seafarers in support of seafarers around the world who have endured exceptionally challenging circumstances as a result of the COVID19 pandemic. Due to imposed travel restrictions and associated logistical challenges, thousands of seafarers have been unable to disembark their ships and return home long after their tour of duty has ended.
