Hey guys,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page. This year I am running my first ever marathon and I am really excited for it. I have been training hard and am looking forward to the big day.

I have decided to raise money on behalf of the Irish Heart Foundation as close family members have been affected by heart conditions and this is an issue that matters a lot to me.

My dad passed away from a heart attack in 2006 much too soon. Similarly my Nan also died of a heart related condition. Some 80 per cent of premature heart disease and stroke is preventable. Therefore I wanted to raise some money in their honour for this great cause and to ensure there is more public awareness to help us keep our hearts healthier for longer and keep friends and families living happy together for as long as possible. If you have a few quid spare, I'd really appreciate a donation to my just giving page!
