Story

Right as most of you know I have gone hitch-hiking round Europe every Easter for the last number of years and I'm sure all of you are sick of my begging every year for money so that I can head-off on a holiday (its not a holiday its damn hard and if you haven't heard my story from last year come find me and I’ll tell you how hard it can be). So this year for a change I have decided to give you a bit of incentive, I’ll shave my hair off if I raise the full £200 and whoever gives me the most can shave it off if they want to. For those of you who don't know I leave Sheffield during my Easter holidays with £15 pound in my pocket for travelling and I have a week to make it to a city in Europe, this year it's Budapest in Hungry (over 1200 miles away by the quickest route). This is all done in the name of charity as I am looking to raise £200 pounds for local charities to both the UK and Hungry and international charities. A list of the confirmed charities is below, other charities will be added when they are confirmed;

Catch 22 – this provides a service to 15 to 25 year olds involved in criminal activities, these people have the potential to offend, and they are offered counselling and education. This charity works with their families and communities so that young people become more productive, independent and therefore the whole community benefits. Over the years, they have worked with tens of thousands of people for young people in difficult situations.
Fable – this charity promotes awareness of epilepsy through education and publicity with money used towards Vagus Nerve Stimulation Therapy which is a treatment for those with epilepsy which cannot be controlled with medicine alone. They support the Epilepsy Information Drop in Centre in Sheffield and help the family of those affected by this condition.
