In April I will be running the Paris Marathon with the aim of raising £500 for Mind in Mid-Herts.  This is a lesser known local branch of the National charity that support people across mid-Herts who are dealing with various mental health based challenges on an every day basis.  They do some exceptional work with very little recognition and funding and so please at the very least give 5 minutes to read over their website, but ideally donate lots of cash.

£500 could help to run a support group for a month, to fund additional staff or to drive their own funding campaigns.  The teams here provide support to local communities with much resource coming on a voluntary basis - they do an awful lot between them and have some fantastic ideas which are often prevented by their miniscule budgets. I'd really like to help them by raising a few quid so dig as deep as you can!
