Laura's Coops goes to Kenya

Coops goes to Kenya · 31 March 2017
As most of you know I am travelling to Kenya in just over 6 months to help out with a charity called ACEF. They support a school called the Brainhouse academy which is situated in one of the worlds largest slums.
With 900 students, with 200 of them orphaned and living at the school. ACEF does many things for them. One of them is to provide one meal a day for the orphans and a meal 4 times a week for the students. This costs £14000 a year. Break that down its £1.25 to feed a child for a week! So your coffee in the morning could feed two underprivileged children for a week, or three kids if you go large.
I'm asking you if you could please sponsor me £1.25 (or more if you like) and give up your coffee shop coffee, lunch meal deal, chocolate bar or bottle of water. And know that you have fed a child for a week.
Thank you in advance for your help. I am £200 off booking my flights, thanks to my bro, dad and anyone else that gave me money for my 30th birthday. Donations through my just giving page will go straight to ACEF. However if you would like to give it personally to me to help me buy supplies to take with me to help with the girls in the school then that would be great.
Please visit ACEF.uk.com to find any more information that you might need or feel free to ask me anything.
Love
Laura
