***** On the 28th April 2013 a team of us ran the North Lincs Half Marathon and raised £816.63*****

On the 27th Feb 2012 our son Zack was born 12 weeks prematurely weighing 2lb 9oz. He went on to spend 9 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit at Scunthorpe General Hospital, before he came home to meet his big brother Jake. We have chosen to support Bliss as they are a charity who offer invaluable support and information to parents in similar situations to ours. 

Despite Zack's early arrival we are extremely lucky as Zack has no health concerns and continues to do well in terms of his development.    We undoubtedly owe a lot to the medical staff on the ward who do an amazing job, as well as our family and friends who helped us through a very difficult time.
