As some of you may know, last April, after a short illness, my husband Sean, was diagnosed with renal failure. He was airlifted to the Intensive Care Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where they discovered he only had 1% kidney function. Sean now has regular dialysis until the time comes for him to have a kidney transplant.

Throughout this time, we have received great support both from Orkney Kidney Patients Association, and the staff of the Renal Ward in Balfour Hospital.

To say thank you for the care & support given, I have made one of my bears, to raise money to help support fellow patients & their families both now, and in the future.
