At the end of last year, a five year old little girl (in my son's class) became seriously ill and - despite every effort to save her life in the care of Bristol Children's Hospital - she tragically died.  Heartbreaking. 

Both my two children needed specialist treatment from Bristol hospitals when they were babies so I have experienced first hand the expert NHS care and how life changing it can be. Supporting this great cause is something close to my heart.

The whole school community has been deeply affected by the loss of Elizabeth and want to do anything they can to help support her courageous Mother, Natalia, on her journey of 6,000 miles along the UK coastline. A group of Mums, Dads and Staff from St. James' Primary are participating in the Cheltenham Half Marathon on the 25th September to raise funds to support the charity set up in Elizabeth's memory. I went walking with Natalia for the day back in April and she is truly inspiring.  Her dedication to channeling her grief into something positive by raising money for poorly children is astounding. She is currrently in Scotland (having began her Walk of Love in Dorset). Please help her reach her target by donating to my page.
