So WE DID IT!! Seems oor Snowdon Rocks training paid off and we managed not to fall off, fall doon or fall oot - thankfully the only thing that has fallen is the curtain on oor hillwalking!! 😂😂 Thankfully the climb was nowhere near as bad as Nevis, though was still tough in bits (like from the bottom to the summit and then doon again!). We had oor usual vista at the summit of mist, mist and (just to make sure) more mist....shame we 'mist' seeing the view (see what I did there?!) as am sure it would be spectacular (will have to Google it as we have nae intentions of doing it again....am sure we said the same aboot Nevis mind you...!) All in all a brilliant weekend spent with brilliant people raising much needed funds for the brilliant Love Hope Strength Foundation. Special thanks to oor mountain buddies (Nicola, David, Mickey & Lydia) who helped these 2 mountain hating, Costa loving lassies haul ass up a rather large hill! And last, but by no means least, a HUGE, HUGE thank you to each and every one of you who gave their support and hard earned cash - you have helped us raise an astonishing £1,728 for which we are truly thankful for 💚💚 We are now looking forward to weekends withoot mountains!! So despite saying we’re ‘sconey no dae that again’ it's taken our
French Fancy to combine our hatred of mountains with our love of cake &
coffee and attempt the Rocky Road of Snowdon in aid of the Love Hope Strength Foundation.   

We have quite clearly lost our Marbles(cake), but have heard
there's a café at the top....the things we'll do for a (Welsh) cake!

Hopefully it won't Lemon Drizzle on the day or our resolve might
Crumble.  Though a glimpse of Mike's Hot Cross Buns will keep us
going...we will indulge in extra Carrot Cake training which will hopefully
help us see in the dark in case we're a bit 'latte' coming down…

Having spent endless hours in our local coffee shop planning for
‘Snowdon Rocks’ our chat snowballed into doing our own version ‘Costa Rocks’….!

We'd be really grateful if you could dig deep and earn some Brownie points for a couple of Tarts who have been walking off our Muffin tops in preparation – hoping we won’t be too out of (cream) puff by the time we finish…
