We raise funds for The Lee Rigby Foundation to help bereaved families and Veterans

Story

To support persons suffering from bereavement or loss. Relieving mental and physical distress and saving lives through contact, support and holistic alternative care by providing retreat and respite centres, and promoting activities proven to benefit health.

I am one of Lee’s little sisters and would love to see the Foundation be able to help other families as much as it has helped us. We weren’t lucky enough to have anyone when we lost Lee and now 9 years on it still hurts just as much but knowing we could help a family even to just get a break makes the pain seem the slightest bit worth it.

I lost my big brother and my idol 9 years ago and I would do anything to have him back. The next best thing is being able to help people in the position my family were in when we lost Lee. This is the third year I’ll be doing the Great South Run and as always I really do appreciate any support ❤️

He was my best friend and I can honestly say I have never truly recovered however I have done what I needed to for my family. I stepped up from a young age to replace that gap and even to this day I would not regret what I did and can only hope that Lee would be proud.

About the charity
