We are completing a 10 mile walk through the streets of London on Friday 17 September, and would really appreciate your support.

Maggie's are wonderful places that aim to equip anyone affected by cancer to live with, through and beyond it.  For some people it is simply having someone to talk to who understands what they are going through. For others it is sound practical advice about their finances or learning to cope with stress that makes all the difference. For others it is simply having a safe place to take a breath, have a cup of tea and find the strength to not lose the joy of living in the fear of dying.  Maggie's operate on a drop in basis and all the services are free - the centres provide psychological support, benefits advice, nutritional advice and run courses on tai chi, yoga, art and gardening as well as dealing with stress, hair loss and grief.  There are six centres around the country, and Maggie's are currently raising money to build another seven - the demand for what each centre can provide is so high, and the goal is to be there for everyone dealing with a diagnosis of cancer.
