We have decided to take part in Coventry SleepOut on the 12th October 2018. It is a sponsored challenge to construct a dwelling out of cardboard and plastic and then sleep in it overnight. It is a free event which will raise funds for St Basil's Coventry services preventing youth homelessness. These services have been operational for almost 5 years now and in 2017-2018 they have supported over 400 young people through Floating Support or Positive Prevention Project but they are still very much in need of more support, more young people can be reached and given help to get them further toward their goals. 

But also this event will  help to raise awareness of the services St Basils provides and the money raised can help the intervene early enough to prevent more young people from becoming homeless!

We have decided to 'rough it' for one night to prevent young people from having to do this for real. So please donate what you can so that young people in Coventry can sleep safe every night!
