Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 8th of December, over 15 sixth form students from Watford Grammar School for Boys will be shaving their head in a bid to raise money for one of the school charities this year, Marie Curie. As well as the head shave, a 'pay to wax someone' event will be happening.

The following boys will be shaving their head: Euan Wiley, George Hickey, Ethan Meller, Ben Plunkett, Kiran Vyas, Aushan Gosrani, Mitchel Ford, Emir Puffett, Waleed Malik, Alex Page, Oliver Kent, Connor O'Donnell, Roshan Patel, Jacob Culshaw and hopefully many more!

All donations will be kindly received as we aim to raise as much money for such a great cause. Marie Curie works to provide care and support for more than 40,000 terminally ill people and their families in the UK each year.

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Marie Curie and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.

Any cash donations will go to the school's other yearly charity, Action for Children.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We will continue to post updates on this page, and you can also follow us on twitter at @WBGS6thform. Please do follow and share our posts in order to help raise awareness and hopefully increase money raised!

Thank you very much, all donations will be greatly appreciated,
