Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing Ironman UK this summer and because its such a ridiculous thing to do, I thought it would be a good idea to make sure a charity benefits from the effort. Hopefully it will also give me the additional motivation in training if I do it for charity.

I have chosen Cancer Research UK because it seems that over the last few years, a lot of people I know have been affected by cancer in one way or another and it is highly likely that many more will be in the future. Cancer is something that is not going to go away overnight and needs constant funding for research and this is why I have chosen to raise money for them.

The Ironman for those of you who dont know is a 3.5mile swim, 112 mile bike ride followed by a marathon. It seemed like a good idea at the time! I dont intend to do anything as silly as this again so please make the most of my stupidity and donate some money! If all of my Facebook friends donate just a few quid, we will reach the £500 mark with no trouble at all. Its not until August so you have loads of time to save up!
