Blake is a very loved 2nd baby to my friend, Jenny and her husband, Paul McMillan. When Blake was just 20 days old, their world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome, also known as Rett Syndrome.

MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome is very rare; Blake is only the 25th sufferer in the UK to be diagnosed. There is no government funding available, so it is up to friends and families of those with the condition to raise funding for research.

By sponsoring me to look like a member of the village people for a month, you'll be directly contributing to research projects and studies that are focused on the faulty gene with the aim of finding a cure, helping Blake and those like him.
