We help families affected by bereavement to cope with the emotional impact of grief

Story

30 mile charity cycle ride, raising money for the Rainbow Centre For Children. Mixed riding ability ranging from very experienced (Sam Riley) to enthusiastic amateurs (Air Cdre Simon and Nick Nelson). We are aiming to raise £500  by the day of the event, including fund raising activities taking place within the work environment.

Rainbow Centre For Children - Situated in a quiet residential area of Bristol, The Rainbow Centre provides a haven of peace for children and their families suffering from the effects of a life threatening illness or death in the family.

In 2017, the Centre partnered with Grief Encounter, one of the UK’s largest children bereavement charity. As a result of the partnership, there will be increased support services offered, whilst servicing a greater area.

About the charity

The Rainbow Centre offers free and professional Creative Therapy for children who have lost a parent or sibling. Our therapies help children and their families to cope with the very difficult emotional impact of their grief and loss. Thank you so much for your support.
