The Northumbrian 70.3 · 2 July 2023
Me and two friends are taking part in our first triathlon on July 2nd 2023, The Northumbrian 70.3 triathlon which is a 1.2mile swim, 56mile bike ride and a half marathon.
I've decided to raise money for Leo's Neonatal Charity. This is a charity that I respect hugely, and connect with for a number of reasons.
Unfortunately, my parents lost my brother, Ross, many years ago after he was born with complications due to his premature birth, something that over 30 years on is still hard for them - and I have seen their pain first hand.
Secondly, and more positively, this charity helped two of my best friends and my godson, Theo through some very hard times back in 2019, when Theo was born prematurely. Theo is thriving now, but navigating those early months for John and Katherine was hard, and I know how thankful they were that Leo's was there to help.
Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to visit my page and to donate. It really is massively appreciated and will go to such a good local cause.
