We’ve been improving the lives of those who work or have worked at sea, and their families, for over 100 years. Established in 1917 as The King George's Fund for Sailors, to support the families of seafarers lost at sea during World War One, we support seafarers throughout their career and beyond.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are supporting this great charity as I have family links to the fishing industry and because of the great work they do in Hull and the surrounding areas. Hull has a long association with the fishing and shipping industries and the work Seafarers do to support the families associated with these industries is superb.
As most of you will know I don't particularly enjoy running (unless there is the opportunity of dishing out a badly timed tackle at the end of it) so this is going to be huge challenge, but one I'm willing to take on in aid of this great cause.
