A very close and dear friend in Seattle who had breast cancer passed on 6 September.

I took part in the 'Battle Cancer Crossfit' in Kensington Olympia on 15 October. Thousands competed during 5x10 minute CrossFit challenges. I dedicated my efforts for her.

Well. I made it in the end. By the time I finished the event, I raised just over £7,000 and people are still giving. Thank you as he generosity was a great inspiration as I burned over 525 calories from the burpees, squats, sit ups, lifts and ergs as well as the emotional part. 

It was also incredibly emotional too. We miss you CH.

This is a fitting tribute and I hope this is a small step to help eradicate this awful disease.
