Crook Young Farmers Club's Sponsored Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Melissa Gorst is raising money for North West Air Ambulance

Sponsored Yorkshire 3 Peaks Walk Challenge · 11 June 2022

The charity's three helicopters and four rapid response vehicles operate 365 days a year, with doctors and paramedics on board providing enhanced prehospital care to people across the entire North West region.

Story

15 brave members of Crook Young Farmers Club are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on Saturday 11th June 2022.

Members will take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough encompassing 24 miles and a massive 1585m of ascent!

100% of the donations received will be donated directly to North West Air Ambulance to enable them to carry out their life-saving work; providing pre-hospital care and hospital transfers. The North West Air Ambulance must raise over £9.5 million each year to keep providing this fundamental service. They receive NO government or NHS funding, so fundraising events such as these are vital to ensure the continuation of such an important service.
