What's the Challenge?
6 of the Crowdcube team are taking on the challenge of a 3 day, 320km ride from Paris to London.
What's Techbikers?
Techbikers is a collaboration of the London tech startup community to help children in need by supporting literacy charity Room to Read. Since 2012 over 100 tech professionals – including start-ups, venture capitalists and executives have cycled 960km in three Paris to London rides to raise money for this fantastic charity.
Who are Crowdcube?
As the lead sponsor of Techbikers 2015, Crowdcube is the world's leading investment crowdfunding platform. We enable anyone to invest alongside professional investors in start-up, early stage and growth businesses through equity, debt and investment fund options. Thanks to our investor community of 200,000 people, £100 million has been successfully invested through the site, funding 290 businesses as a result. This year alone, we have raised £50 million for 109 businesses, which includes 14 overseas companies. Of the 290 funded pitches, over 20 have raised £1 million with a growing number of more established businesses turning to the crowd for investment.
