Story

The Cumbrian SPAA Foundation have trained and planned meticulously for a day that promises to be as challenging as it is rewarding.

The day will inlvolve SPAA Foundation staff biking a combined distance of over 300 miles which will take 4 and a half hours. Tough! But too easy for the staff of SPAAF who are encouraged to maintain their physical peak! On top of this we will also be delivering 30 minute coaching sessions at 11 different schools across Carlisle  to coincide with tthis years Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and to promote the values of Sport Relief.

Schools that have signed on so far include:

Shankhill

James Rennie

Kingmoor Infants and Juniors

St Cuthberts

Brook street

Wreay CofE

High Hesket

Caldew Lea

Newtown

Upperby

Kirkbride

It is estimated that every one of the SPAA Foundation staff that takes part will cycle over 60 miles.  We start at 8 and we aim to be finished at 5.  This is our mission and we choose to accept it.

All donations would be very much appreciated and they will go to an excellent cause.  Thanks in advance.
