Once again, rugby players of all ages and abilities from the Cambridge construction industry will take to the field to raise money for a worthy cause.  This year's match will take place at Cambridge Rugby Club on Granchester Road on Friday, May 11th.  Venue and  bar will be open from 1500 for networking and kick-off for the main event is at 1600.  The Consultants lead the series 2 -1 so far, so expect the Contractors to give it their all to draw level!

All proceeds go to charity, including money raised in our match-day raffle with fantastic prizes such as iPads and rugby memorabilia already kindly donated.  The event is proudly sponsored by Mott MacDonald.

This year's nominated charity is WaterAid as we in the UK often take for granted the clean water that comes from our taps and the simple luxury that is a flushing toilet.  

Without clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.  Children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive. 

It sounds normal and it should be...for all.
