St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life.

Story

Last year we lost Michele Jones, a dear family member and friend, to cancer of the Pleura. In the final months of her life the staff at St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice gave her both the medical and mental support to help her and her family cope during this very difficult time.

In loving memory of Michele and to thank St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice myself and five friends wish to raise a minimum of £5,000 to help this worthy and local organisation continue their tireless effort in giving support and comfort to people in the last months of their lives.

In order to raise this sponsorship total, we are planning on cycling coast-to-coast. We are starting our journey in Morecombe on August 30th and using the ‘Way of the Roses’ cycle route to get to Bridlington. This is a total of 170 miles in just two days.
