Last year change my family's life forever! On 24th August 2014 my Son and Daughter and two friends was involved in a car accident which devastatingly took my Sons life just 20 years Old! My Daughter suffered serious injuries and so did her best friend and this resulted in the need for two air ambulances assistance!  My Daughter was flown to the Royal Preston Hospital and her friend to MRI Manchester! Without the speed and expertise from NWAA we could have had two more losses to deal with. Thankfully both girls are fighting back and making good recoveries!  NWAA was our lifeline that day and although my Son could not be saved despite there best efforts they most definitely saved the girls life. This is my second fund raising mission to raise the much needed funds to keep these life savers in the air. I have never run before and given myself a huge mission to run the 10k alongside Joes friends Emily and Lisa Mistry, but I know that what I raise will be put to the amazing day to day running in keeping those helicopters in the air. I hope you can donate, no matter how much you can spare it all helps and I know my Son will be watching over us, pushing us every step of the way.
