Teaching in Nepal/Cardiff Half Marathon · 2 March 2018

We started in 2015 with emergency relief. Today we are still working with remote communities helping them to create more equal society through education. We're funding reusable period packs for girls, computers and training for secondary schools & helping primary schools bridge their funding gap.

Story

In late March Harry Rouse and myself will be flying out to Nepal in conjunction with the YYY Foundation to teach English and coach Cricket in a Primary School that was badly affected by the Earthquake that devastated so much of Nepal in 2015.

YYY Foundation was established in 2015 to raise funds to help in Nepal in the wake of the 2015 earthquakes. The charity has focused largely since then on funding the rebuilding of village schools which have been destroyed, in the absence of any government intervention or funding.

As a part of the fundraising I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help and support with any form of donation to help raise money for the YYY Foundation. "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".
