Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will know that my dear sister, Kate, was sadly taken from us in October last year at the age of 42 after a long and extraordinarily brave battle against cancer, leaving us all devastated. As a family, we were hugely grateful to the fantastic team of dedicated staff at St Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke for the incredible care and attention they provided to Kate over an extended period - both in the hospice for several weeks and then at home.

It's been a few years since I incorporated any fundraising into my running so I hope you'll be able to support me for this particularly personal cause. I'm dedicating my planned attempt at the London Marathon on April 28th to this as I guess it's the one race everyone knows about, but do have a couple of others planned....keep an eye on my facebook page for details.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure and should work from anywhere in the world. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much in advance for your support - we really appreciate it and I know any donations will go towards supporting the amazing work done by the Hospice.
