DUSC does Ironman · 27 February 2019

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

DUSC is doing an Ironman!

On Wednesday February 27th, Durham University Swimming Club will be attempting to complete an Ironman triathlon (3.9km swim, 180km cycle & a full marathon!) to raise money for Mind.

Mind works to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. As well as campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding around mental health.

We will be completing the swim at Freeman's Quay from 7am before moving to Maiden Castle for the cycle on stationary bikes. We will then complete the run on the 400m athletics track outside (that's 106 laps!!). We would love to receive as much support as we can and any donations or cheering on would be really appreciated!
