I will be trekking in the Sahara desert next month in order to raise funds for the Spinal Unit in Salisbury District Hospital. The trek covers 100 kms of northwestern sahara in Morocco and also involves living in the desert for 8 days.

As this is a 100% self-paid trip, all your contributions will be donated to the Spinal Unit via Stars Appeal.

You may be aware that patients with spinal cord injury undergo treatment and rehabilitation in this unit, which is the only one in this region. The funds will go towards improvement of facilities which patients use.
