Daisy was diagnosed with TYPE 1 DIABETES last July aged 8. She is now insulin dependent and has to endure countless injections, blood tests and battle daily to try to manage her glucose levels. 

The girls in Daisy's class are so supportive and together they want to make a difference and help raise money for JDRF. Out of a difficult diagnosis comes something positive. Friends of only 9 years old getting together to help. 

Team Daisy will run the ONE FUN RUN in Manchester and will work together as a team to tackle the obstacles and cross the finish line together.
