The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

My name is Daniel and I am ten years old. I am growing my hair so that I can donate it to the Little Princess Trust. They will make it into a wig for a boy or girl who has lost their hair because of cancer.

I started growing my hair in 2014 when I got the part of Oliver Twist with Chesterfield Operatics. After the show I decided to keep on growing it for the Little Princess Trust, and now it's really long!

I'm going to get my hair cut at the end of August just before I start high school, that way it will be as long as it can be. I have been picked on lots at school, and get mistaken for a girl all the time but I don't care, it's worth it to help the children who have lost their hair.

I am fundraising in memory of my big cousin Nathan Moore who died three years ago from cancer. He used to call me 'mini me' and I miss him loads, he lost all his hair when he had chemotherapy.

My target is to raise £350 so that the Little Princess Trust can buy a wig for a boy or girl that has lost their hair, if you can spare just £2 to help me reach my target that would be absolutely amazing.

Please subscribe to my Youtube channel https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCAagh9i6SQ24EBDYPFOvyzQ where I will be posting videos about my hair. Please check it out and share it with your friends if you can so I can raise as much money as I can.

Thanks for reading,

Daniel
