Story
Hi
Caroline and I found out in the summer that we would be having a baby in February 2013. Looking at the photo (hopefully uploaded) I didn't feel fit enough to do this. About the same time Stuart Wootton suggested doing the Sneyd Striders 10 mile Xmas Pudding run in December. It seemed a good target to work to. So Stuart Wootton, Richard Walley, Jay Patel and I are ready (barring injury and illness) to run 10 miles.
I think it is fair to say it was my bright idea to run in fancy dress.
On Sunday 9 December we will be running dressed as:
Me (Xmas Fairy), Stuart (Mrs Claus from Anne Summers), Richard (Pixie from Anne Summers) and Jay (Santa mankini).
This page has been set up to try and earn some sponsorship for these efforts. There were lots of great charities that we spoke of but have finalised on Tommy's. if you have not heard of it before it is possibkle to access more detail through this page.
Just so you know:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
A message of support or (hopefully) congratulations would also be really appreciated. Assuming all goes to plan I will put some photos from the day on here.
