As a paramedic himself, Dan appreciated the skills and committement staff working for North West Air Ambulance had. You could say he admired them and found them an inspiration.

Well, Dan offered inspiration himself. His love of mountain biking and road cycling was infectious. He was always there to help me out and advise.... and repair!!! So, I'm doing this as the only way now I know how to say thanks, Dan. You're one of the best.

My cycle route covers 160...odd miles (accounting for getting lost)... of Lancashire and Cumbria. There are definately hills involved, so I'm not expecting it to be easy. All your support is needed, emotionally (coz I'm bricking it!) and financially.... please, please donate to this great cause.
