The idea for me to run the marathon for MK SNAP began in late January. I had set myself a goal of running 5k every day in January. With the finish line in sight my colleagues at Handelsbanken ‘encouraged’ me to keep the momentum going and support this worthy cause which is close to the hearts to many in the office, as well as the wider business community.

Established in 1992 MK SNAP is an award winning local charity providing life skills, education and work training for adults with learning disabilities. Many of their learners go on to enjoy working with local organisations and companies with specialist support. MK SNAP has a dedicated team of 24 qualified and specialist staff and a team of volunteers whose vision is to transform the local community through the promotion of independence, inspiration and opportunity.
