I've never been a distance runner - running to catch the train is about the closest I have come! Whilst I've always admired people that can push themselves to run, cycle, swim or exercise for extended periods of time, I have never truly been motivated to join them. 

Since joining the Future Pathways programme with Cardiff City FC Foundation in 2017, I have witnessed first-hand some of the extraordinary work that this charity does across South Wales. Using sport as a tool to help children, young people and families to achieve their full potential is incredibly rewarding, but relies heavily on donations and funding from partners. 

Having seen the positive effects of the Foundation's work and been privileged enough to work alongside some fantastic beneficiaries, I feel that putting myself out of my comfort zone and committing to raise money will help to ensure that the charity continues to positively impact the lives of many more people in the future.

All donations are gratefully received, and will help the Foundation to continue their excellent work within local communities for the foreseeable future. No donation is too small, so please give what you can and support this charity to help more young people to achieve their full potential.
