Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page..

So our last money raising mission for charity was 2 years ago, cycling 240 miles to Wales over 3 days managing to raise around £2,000 thanks to everyone’s generosity.

We have decided that another challenge is needed for 2019.

2 or 3 times each year 4 of us travel over to Holland and meet up with a group of locals to watch a Feyenoord Rotterdam match, so this year we have decided to tie this in with raising some money for charity.

On April 10th Sam and myself will be setting off from Ely and walking the route to Holland, finishing at De Kuip (Feyenoord’s Stadium) This will be over 2.5/3 days.  Walking a minimum of 100 miles in total.

Day 1: Ely Cathedral > Portman Road, Ipswich - 55 miles

Day 2: Portman Road, Ipswich > Harwich -  25 miles.

Over night Ferry (not swimming the Chanel.... this year 👀

Day 3: Hook of Holland port > De Kuip - 25 miles.

This year we have chosen to raise money for Melanoma UK again, this is part of a bigger plan to raise £10k - £15k over the next 3 years. So anything you can give would be enormously appreciated.

you can add me on Instagram nearer the time to follow updates on my story from the journey from 10th, I cannot promise refined content. Insta: portman_23
