Thank you for viewing my JustGiving page, which I update concurrently with my Blog at https://danielscharitybikeride.wordpress.com/ . This JustGiving page is for a solo two-part challenge, which I will undertake, in 2016 and in 2017, in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The first part of the challenge consists of a solo cycle-ride, in August of 2016, from Land's End, in Cornwall, to John O'Groats, in Scotland, and of climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. The second part of the challenge also consists of climbing and solo-cycling. In 2017, I will be climbing the five highest mountains of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and The Republic of Ireland and solo-cycling between the said mountains, so as to reach them. To my knowledge this, second proposed challenge, has not been previously done. I completed the first part of the solo challenge on 18th August 2016, which was eventful, gruelling, and an unforgetable experience, in equal measures. The challenge and the hardships, are something that I am committed to undertaking in order to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis, an awful and cruel disease, for which there is no cure. Together with the physical aspect of the challenge, I will post a running blog, with photographs and occasionally videos, for both events, with updates on my adventure and my training. I also aim to raising awareness about the important and invaluable work that the MS Society does towards research and the support that they offer to those living with Multiple Sclerosis. Your support and encouragement towards the fulfillment of these goals, will be greatly appreciated. Efforts to find a cure cannot succeed unless many people help in the fight to rid this awful disease, from which my sister died in 2010. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving: they will not sell them on, or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, JustGiving will forward your money directly to the MS Society, who will acknowledge your donation. It is the most efficient way to make a donation, and make a difference, saving time and cutting costs to the charity. Please, donate generously towards this worthy cause - although, any amount is greatly appreciated as it contributes to a greater goal. Most importantly, thank you, sincerely, for your support.
