Story
In October I will be running the Oxford Half Marathon and raising money for Autism Family Support Oxfordshire. Autism Family Support Oxfordshire is a local charity which aims to support the therapeutic education, development, and wellbeing of children and young adults on the autism spectrum in Oxfordshire. 3 years ago my niece Chloe was diagnosed with Autism, since then AFS Oxfordshire has been a continual source of support for her and all the family.
Like all charity’s AFS rely on donations and fundraising, they are particularly keen to raise money for two of their youth groups, Befriending, several training courses (social skills and sex & relationships; as well as some parent courses), and longer term goals is to have an Activities Coordinator and a Centre for Autism. Certainly my niece Chloe wouldn’t be where she is now without the kind and generous donations already made to AFS Oxfordshire.
So please spare whatever you can to help a local charity raise the funds it needs to deliver these projects.
