Daniel's Go Ape!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My names Daniel Charles im 31 years okd and i have spent most of my life dealing with anxiety and depression, its affected every aspect of my life work, friendships, family, love live)(or should i say lack of one) which eventually culminated in what I can only describe as a breakdown before Christmas last year, after having given in my notice at my previous place of employment and wasn't able to see out the end of notice period before starting my new job. I ended up having to give up my flat and moving bacj in with my parents. It is thanks to my family especially my Mum and older brother that i was able to pull through. Its only a few months later but im doing so much better, im doing well in my new job and im on anti depressants which seem to be helping me alot and i keep pushing myself more and more each day with very positive results. But it makes me wonder if I didn't have anyone to help me through what might have happened. Seeing what happened to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden & Audioslave as well as Keith Flint from Prodigy who recently took his own life, I've decided to take a stand and at least try and do something to help others out there like me. Therefore i am looking raise a little money for the mental health charity to try and help spread awareness of mental health and suicide. Therefore on the 19th April i plan on going to Go Ape which doesn't sound all that challenging, but as someone who has phobia of heights trusy its a big deal. Who knows if I can do this then maybe one day i might try sky diving :)
As a foot note i have started my own little campaign, i call it the 'How Are You?' campaign. My aim is to try and start a conversation with each and every person on my FB friends list through messenger. Not all once of course but over time, but idea to just try and talk to people, ask them how they are what's going on in their lives, let them know that i love them and thst i care, so if they ever feel alone and want to talk they know who they turn to. I have no idea if it'll work but its been successful for me personally so far and i figure if someone can convince people to do the Ice Bucket challenge then surely this shouldn't be too hard. Anyway enough, hopefully people will contribute maybe they won't but no harm in trying right? Love to you all xxx
