Established in 1912 the Royal Engineers Association (REA) is the charity for the British Army’s; bridge builders, bomb disposal operators, high risk searchers, divers, geospatial and construction specialists. Collectively these men and women are known as “Sappers”.

Story

Kevin Hindle suddenly passed away on 23rd June 2023 aged 70.

Kevin served in the Royal Engineers in his youth and attending many reunions and filling his cupboards with Sapper merchandise.

Kevin joined the Army in 1969 at the age of 16 and was part of Military Survey (Geographic), 42 Survey Engineer Regiment 13 Squadron before leaving in 1981 after 12 years service.

Despite having left the armed forces over 40 years ago, Kevin was always proud to be a Sapper so we could not think of a more perfect cause for donations than both present and former Sappers and their families when they are in need.

In his memory please donate to The Royal Engineers Association.
