Dan's Winter Nuts Challenge for the Cavernoma Alliance

Winter Nuts Challenge · 7 March 2020
You may already know, but last summer my girlfriend Lucy was diagnosed with a brain tumour the day we were heading off for a holiday to the beautiful Scottish island of Gigha.
After a week of thinking the worst, Lucy had her brain operation to remove the clementine sized tumour and it was sent off for biopsy. The result came back that it was a cavernoma a rare, benign blood vessel tumour.
Needless to say Lucy, her friends, family and I feel very grateful that her tumour was both operable and benign!
Lucy is recovering remarkably quickly but others are not so lucky, this charity helps provide support and information to those that suffer with cavernomas that aren’t lucky enough to have them operated on, but also provide post surgery support.
Any donation would be really appreciated as this run is going to be very cold and long!
