Story
I have taken on the challenge to run the 2020 London Marathon to help raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation, as it is a infection that has affected various members of my family.
I am running in memory of my partners Granddad who suddenly passed away from bacterial Meningitis 21 years ago.
I am running for Tony who overcome a tough battle with bacterial Meningitis just under 2 years ago, and has had a steady, positive recovery.
I am running for my nephew Frankie who recently, at 6 weeks old was diagnosed with viral Meningitis, but thankfully had a full recovery.
I would like to give something back by raising money for the support and awareness of Meningitis. As it shows how much these donations make a difference with the diagnosis and treatment.
