Thanks for visiting my page.
I have been working at The Log Cabin Charity for over 13 years. During this time I have seen the difference The Log Cabin Charity makes to the lives of the children, young people and their families.
The Log Cabin, Ealing, is a place where local children and young people with additional needs or disabilities can socialise, grow and have fun alongside their mainstream peers.
Established in 1980 by Margaret Lorde, a former Mayor of Ealing, the independently-run charity offers affordable after school care and school holiday activities, providing respite for parents and carers.
With its strong focus on inclusivity, the Log Cabin welcomes all children regardless of ability or emotional, physical, behavioural and learning disabilities, allowing them to play and make new friends, and preventing those with additional needs from becoming socially isolated.
The values place the child at the centre of all we do and this philosophy is shared by all our staff and volunteers.
