          I work for Luxottica UK and will be representing them and their charity OneSight in May when I travel to Nicaragua. I will be with other Luxottica employees from all around the world as part of the Global Clinic Teams helping disadvantaged people that have no access to eyecare.

          To raise money for my mission to Nicaragua I will be organising cake and sandwich days, as well as a pancake day, and for every milestone I hit I will be doing the following to try gain a few more donations:

        If I raise £150  –  I will walk to the Thames from my house in fancy dress (costume to be confirmed)! This is a 17 mile walk and takes between 4-5 hours.

        If I raise £300  –  I will walk home from work every day for a week! St Albans to Cheshunt = 16.2 miles so that’s 81 miles in a week & around 25 hours of walking.

        If I raise £500  –  I will shave my hair off! Grade 1 or 2 all over. And for anyone that knows me, you'll know this will be a pretty big deal for me! Surely this is worth a few quid right!?
         
          As you can see it's an amazing cause and donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. All your details are safe with JustGiving and I've donated before and everything has been fine! If you donate they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
